L’analyse du travail dans les organisations post tayloriennes : au-delà du travail prescrit, le travail attendu

Abstract : In post-taylorism organizations, the prescribed work tends to be lightened in exchange for greater empowerment of front-line actors and greater reliance on cooperation with different stakeholders. At the same time, one may notice that these stakeholders are carrying another form of informal and implicit prescription: the expected work. The purpose of this paper is to discuss this observation and analyze the links between expected work and actual work. On this basis, a work regulation model that takes into account the expected work is proposed and some of its implications for the practice of ergonomics are identified.
