Proposition d’un schéma d’entretien constructiviste de conseil en orientation (life designing counseling) pour des adolescents ou de jeunes adultes

Abstract : This paper describes a counseling intervention (an interview) aimed at helping adolescents and young adults to cope with the contemporary social imperative of designing one’s life. Its methodology refers to a constructivist-constructionist framework and, more precisely, to the model « to make self oneself » (Guichard, 2004). This process aims at helping the counselee analyze his/her current situation (in its complexity: “his/her subjective identity forms system”), read it from the prospect of some future expectations (“expected subjective identity forms”) and determine different activities to get involved in, in order to achieve this goal. This active intervention has an emancipatory purpose: to help young people develop a reflexivity process on their current situation. It involves a conjoint activity of counselor and counselee during different sessions that spread over a few weeks.
