Activité de conception industrielle, dialogue professionnel et santé au travail

Abstract : This contribution proposes to explore a focus of research, which aims to relate the possibility for workers in the sector of car industrial design to co-operate with the others, on the one hand, and on the otherhand, their occupational health. The assumption put forward is that professional dialogue plays a vital role for this process. From an intervention and research perspective in work psychology, and more precisely in activity clinic, the contribution accounts for a development from an initial situation of isolation at work towards the possibility for the workers to place themselves in a common professional story. Through the deployment of a suitable dialogical process focusing on the quality of work (in French, Dialogue sur la Qualité du Travail, DQT), this possibility increases at multiple levels - subjective, intersubjective, collective and historical – by means of professional dialogue. The latter can therefore be considered as the basis for efficiency and health at work.
