Qui donc pourrait se sentir à sa place ?

Abstract : ‪The issue of displacement and its modes of subjectification is considered here under three angles: the position of exiles displaced from their homeland due to its leaders’ violence, and unwelcomed in the place of exile through the violence of the legal system; that of sedentary people in exile due to political decisions in their own territory; and finally that of the researcher displaced from his supposed erudite condition so as to be able to listen to other discourses that constantly upend his own prejudices. This text starts from a study of field philosophy on the issue of solidarities that took place in Greece, on the island of Lesbos. It leads to a reflection on the ways the individual and social history of past migrations can influence the collective unconscious, as well as on the distress that arises from others’ misery and the forms of collusion that will ensue.‪
