What are we talking about when we talk about work?

De quoi parle-t-on quand on parle du travail ?

In the context of a revival of social struggles around work, after such astonishing announcements as the end of work, and after the emergence of a question about a universal income functioning de facto as a living wage, a wider social debate has just reopened, mixing however questions relating to the object of work, its product, the appreciation/depreciation of its value, the possibility of its exploitation, and the social relations in which it is established.

Dans le contexte d'un renouveau des luttes sociales autour du travail, après des annonces aussi étonnantes que la fin du travail, et après l'émergence d'une interrogation sur un revenu universel fonctionnant de fait comme un revenu d'existence, un débat social élargi vient fort opportunément de se réouvrir, mêlant toutefois les questions relatives à l'objet travail, à son produit , à l'appréciation /dépréciation de sa valeur, à la possibilité de son exploitation, aux rapports sociaux dans lesquels il s'établit.
