L’apport des malades à l’amélioration de l’organisation des soins : vers une science participative en nutrition

This article traces the history of the creation of patient collectives in several pathologies. It illustrates different ways of intervention of patients in the care organizations while describing the levels of commitment and types of actions conducted by patients. It describes the fights of several patients non profit organizations and some legal reforms with a focus on a French pilot experimentation in the area of short bowel syndrome in which patients are trained to become partner patients in care.

Cet article retrace l’histoire de la création des collectifs de malades dans plusieurs pathologies. Il illustre différentes modalités d’intervention des malades dans l’organisation des soins en s’attachant à décrire les niveaux d’engagement et les types d’actions conduites par les malades. Il décrit les luttes des malades, les dispositifs législatifs et plusieurs innovations dont l’implantation des patients dans les services de soin dont un exemple dans le syndrome du grêle court.
