L’ergonomie, la robotique collaborative et le génie industriel: Vers une conception pluridisciplinaire des systèmes Humains-Robots

Abstract : Collaborative robots (or cobots) have acquired significant importance in industrial environments. They are increasingly presented as a key to business competitiveness by improving the flexibility of production systems while contributing to the improvement of working conditions, and even the upgrading of the operator's position by transforming his role into that of a supervisor. The place of humans in these future systems equipped with collaborative robots, their safety and the profitability of these investments are all important dimensions to be considered from the early stages of cobotization projects. Due to these multidisciplinary issues, the management of cobotic projects is an excellent opportunity for ergonomists and engineers to discuss and share their perspectives and methodologies in order to co-develop together new project management methodologies combining safety, working conditions, technological feasibility and profitability. This article discusses the importance of this multidisciplinary approach and presents a proposal for a multidisciplinary design approach of cobotic projects.
